St. Tammany
Very comfortable
ENE light wind
Phase 4
Lock on in pine tree overlooking oak flat.

Out for the first time since I shot that doe a couple of weeks ago. Spent the first 4 days this week shooting ducks in cold Canada fields, so the 51 degrees feels wonderful. Looking for another doe or a decent buck. The two bucks I’ve had on camera that I’d shoot came through yesterday. There are about 10,000,000 fewer mosquitoes out here than the last time I sat.

I know what you mean, I feel like I’m on the only water in the panhandle.

Tx panhandle, 56 with nice SE wind. Vet weekend duck hunt, they are already landing down the pond from me. Exactly where I started to set up.

Not much going on here yet. Had a squirrel come about 5’ away from crawling in this lock on with me before either of us realized the other existed. Almost tested my safety harness .

I'm not hunting but had a rack buck with a doe at my camera last night in North La.

Picture quality sucks - don't buy Spypoint.

Three other bucks moving all at night

I just smoked one of them. Didn’t hear her fall but saw blood spraying everywhere when she was running. Gonna sit til 9:30 to see if a buck wants to slip up too.

I thought about letting this doe walk but she was 110lb+, solo, and we need one more for meat. Just hope this track is less eventful than my last one.

Got her. 57 yard easy track. Made a much better shot on this one than the last one. I found her and then went to get my young dog to introduce her to trailing. She went straight to the deer nose to the ground. Great morning .
