Gay marriage.

While homosexuality is a sin, allowing gay marriage lies on the church. Churches are not to promote sin. Supporting same sex unions promotes homosexuality. This makes no sense to me. Whereas teaching sinners (adulterers, murderers, thieves and people practicing homosexuality) to ask for forgiveness and repent is part of the churches calling.
Furthermore, people are not born homosexuals. Neither are people born murderers, thieves, etc. A person’s childhood has a huge affect on their own future.
How do we accept gay marriage? And now we are probably going to settle for allowing abortion into our culture as normal?

You'll probably get some hate but I agree with you 100%. As a Christian, we are not to accept homosexuality at all. We're supposed to love the sinner, not the sin. That's the easy one.
Abortion on the other hand is much harder to put in a box. Wherever you stand on the issue, there is undoubtedly going to be gray area. It's wrong in my opinion. And most professing Christians would agree. But, I would be lying if I didn't understand that there is a small minority of potential scenarios that that gray area shows up. I think we all know the scenarios so I wont mention them. But, the majority of abortion cases come from bad decision making. Point blank. And that stems from a lack of morality being taught to young people.
You can make the argument for safe sex, blah blah blah.
But the only fix for abortion (and homosexuality for that matter) on both sides is to instill morality in to people; raising people to respect others and to protect their own value. And morality has generally come from strong Christian upbringings.
