So the light show was sandbagging the first few games? It seemed that way last night but was too tense to find a post about it.

The game experience is definitely different now. LOL

Wife (no pics) said it feels more like a Taylor Swift concert than a LSU game. It’s still fun though. The students seem to enjoy it.

The crowd is different now. I bet most of them don’t attend more than one game. It’s a tourist bucket list thing now.

They'll never do it with the wrist bands again after so many fans were throwing them on the field.

I’m figuratively biting my tongue so hard right now.

I’m just “old and don’t get it.”

I'm hoping LSU had lots of recruit targets at the game. I can't imagine young prospects considering LSU not coming away thinking - I've GOT to play here.

Same. It’s never going back and the kids seem to enjoy it. It is what it is.

While I can understand the thought of not liking this particular song or any song that vulgar for an event that is meant for families & kids to be there, what is your issue with it?
It's today's equivalent to when PA speakers were put in to interact with the crowd, or lights, or lighted score boards, or jumbotrons. The intent is to engage the crowd, make the experience better in an effort to draw more people in. And for a University & Football Program as prestigious as LSU that routinely has thousands of empty seats during games (even though that is mainly due to other reasons) I'd say it is defintely needed.

I get it, and I agree with you 100%. Is it ok that I still don’t like it?

I’m not disagreeing with you.

Everyone is scared to admit…Maybe we overbuilt if we have gimmick fans into the stadium.

You think little bracelets is why people bothered to come to the game?

When I clicked on the thread I was curious how Audioslave went over with the crowd.
