We done with Carr

With Nuss throwing poorly placed 30 yd bombs every other play , I was thinking he looked a lot like Carr

What a weird time to make this thread when Nuss was really bad last night

Did you see him drive with the game on the line and the absolute DOT he threw for the tying tud? Did you see the game-winning tud in OT where he DESTROYED that DB?
Compare that to Carr’s last throw against Philly with the game on the line.
Low-quality response.

Did you see the other 98% of the game when he was really bad?
Points in the 1st and 2nd quarters count just as much as ones in the 4th or OT

Yes, played his worst game of the year and STILL made the plays he needed to to win. He’s still one of if not the best passers in CFB. That’s how this works, you evaluate a full body of work, not just one game…a game that, again, he made some of the most clutch plays of the year to win. This is why you’re not an NFL GM. Get yo football iq up.

Oh lord. Please stop trolling. I think rattler will do fine.

He was like 19 of 45. Fool

I’d rather go for Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia. Great arm, can make all the throws and very mobile.
Posted on 10/13/24 at 8:38 am to Paul Allen
I’d be ok with that too

We don't need a side arm slinger as our starting QB. Too many bad choices on when and where to throw. No wheels. No, we don't need to tank for Nuss.

Carr is a better QB than Nuss will be

Yeah I agree. Not saying much.. Nuss isn’t any better than say mettenberger . Doesn’t mean LSU can’t win with him just don’t think he’s got what it takes for the pros

Nuss is basically young Carr to be fair.
Pocket qb’s but not on a Brady/Brees level.
Carr is sadly reaching injury prone middle age status.
But hey, I would take Nuss on a rookie deal over Trevor Lawrence for 60 mill.

This is fair. He also improved as the game went on, despite playing pretty bad in the first half. He didn’t let the wheels fall off.
Every qb has a bad game. I remember watching Brees throw 5 picks vs Atlanta.

That’s what great QBs do, they keep it together and find a way to make the winning plays.

Exactly. Even the greatest QB in the history of football had a bad game. Didn’t affect his legacy. Solid post all around. Upvote.
