Not my theory, but i am a believer. And it's awesome.

Also one of Cage's best movies. Classic Cage as Dr. Stanley Goodspeed.

Gotta love Sean Connery. He brings Bond back to life in this movie.

Plus Michael Bay. The film oozes 1990s. 5 stars in my book.

If you arent familiar with the theory and you are a Bond fan, go back and watch the movie. You'll see.

I saw this movie in theaters knowing nothing about it, just went because a friend wanted to go. I always think it’s cool that I just stumbled into seeing arguably the best action movie of all time.

The cast list is fantastic all the way through that movie

Winners go home and frick the prom queen.

One of my random, out of context quotes I use sometimes.

My wife found it pretty damn funny when I said it after I fixed my generator the night before a hurricane

I thought this thread was going to be about Dwayne Johnson being cast as Bond and MI6 laying the smackdown on some terrorists

Didn't the writer or director admit that he picked the timeline specifically as an Easter Egg for James Bond fans?

Masons time in prison corresponds to the timeline when Bond disappeared in Flemings books I think...

So did I. Me and my best friend had his mom drop us off at the old Theater on Siegen. We were 14 and it was the best movie I had ever seen up to that point.

The shower scene with Michael Biehn and Ed Harris is powerful! One of the best scenes in the entire movie.

I' m trying to remember...

IIRC Mason had been imprisoned twice. The second time is when Cage comes in. The first time which occurs before the movie corresponds with Bond's "break". Something like that. I read the whole theory decades ago.

Vanessa Marcil is definitely on the list of actresses for which it's a crime she never did nude scenes along with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Alba.

The crime is thinking that any of those women owed us nude scenes

Oh, stfu. JLH even said she should have done it in her prime.

There is no crime in just wanting to see a woman's titties.

When someone says they'll do their best, I like to quote that whole scene.

At least use it right!

Your "best"! Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and frick the prom queen.

One of my all time favorite quotes for many reasons.

You are correct, sir. My apologies for the blasphemy.
