We have two highly ranked 4 star edge positions already committed, Damien Shanklin and LaJesse Harrold. That may have something to do with Haastrup's sentiment toward aTm right now.

How does a single prediction with a 6-of-10 confidence level after a kid's first official visit establish a "lock"?

Must have thrown a big bag at him or he just wants to stay home in Texas. Those are the only two legitimate reasons for a talented kid to choose that shite stain of a program over LSU.
0 SEC titles
Only 1 big 12 title way back in 1998
0 national championships since 1939.

Not that it matters, but Elko and staff are still promoting their ability to play defense at a high level and negatively recruiting us for defensive prospects. Being a defensive guy, he should continue to have strong defensive classes. They’re struggling to pull in a bunch of elite players on offense right now, which you’d expect with a defensive minded head coach.

I’ve yet to see a Fong prediction over a 6, yet he is usually right. So ignore the number when it comes to his predictions.

Has he visited LSU?

Also may factor in that he isn't as big as listed according to Billy. Who knows the true reason. Maybe he just liked TAM better. It's not unheard of. We flipped 4-5 kids last cycle that preferred TAM until it went off the rails.

Fong is legit and one of the best for sure but he is super over rated.

Myles Garrett made it out just fine.

They are all overrated

Haastrup or no Hasstrup. Lsu will be fine at that position.

And Womack & Jackson as freshman

Womack played in 12 games last season (2023) and has appeared in 4 of 5 this season (2024), upon what logic are you basing your assumption that he is still a Freshman in eligibility?

I’m implying that we have two Young DEs that are not full time starters yet and 2 Highly ranked DEs coming in. I’m sure a DE prospect weighs all options before choosing a school. By the time he arrives Womack will be a starter and CJ a contributor. That’s 4 quality Tigers you’re behind right there. I know Womack is a sophomore I just miss texted, he’s young is my point. Settle down sunshine.
