This is from "ArnGrimR" Substack.
Hurricane Helene: WHERE IS THE SUPPORT?

There is much more here that NEEDS to be shared!!!

The stories are absolutely heartbreaking, and very strongly indicate a death toll that is in the thousands, at least.
And let this sink in. "Our Government" will only accept donations from "approved vendors", (So they can get their cut first),

Hurricane Helene: WHERE IS THE SUPPORT?
Sifting through the reports: STOPPED BY THE GOVERNMENT
Katrina;
quote:
By September 1, three days after Hurricane Katrina made landfall, 23 states had National Guard forces in the operating area, with boots on the ground.
Sept. 8, 2005, at the peak of the response, more than 51,000 Army and Air Guardsmen were on the ground in the Gulf region.
More than 17,000 people saved from flooding or other hazards, and 51,000 people airlifted out of the affected areas by the Army and Air National Guard.
The National Guard (both Army and Air) flew approximately 7,000 sorties, and airlifted nearly 11,000 tons of cargo to the affected areas.

Helene;

Now, after Hurricane Helene, people report that there are almost no government aircraft in the sky. The vast bulk of the helicopters in the sky are from civilians. Local military bases, both from regular army or air force as from national guard, are told to stand down. Biden directed ‘up to’ 1000 active-duty soldiers to help the NC National Guard. Harris promised $750 for people in the disaster zone.

People on the ground speak about horrific images, of tens of bodies in streams, in the mud, dangling in trees, all over. About people who started to collect people in body bags (one report talks about one man who pulled 1200 bodies out of the river in Marshall) but give up because they find so many they can’t stomach it anymore.
The stories are absolutely heartbreaking, and very strongly indicate a death toll that is in the thousands, at least.

Are there any reputable independent reports trying to cover this on the ground? I guess as "on the ground" as you can be. I know it's difficult just to get around that region, and much less with flooding. I'm legit interested in following their coverage.

As opposed to reputable mainstream? You think I'd listen to an ABC reporter on the ground?

It's a recipe for
1) having your name smeared in the national media
2) getting a visit from IRS
3) having your PC hacked ala Katherine Herridge and Sheryl Atkinson
4) having strangers follow your kids around the mall
And THAT's why the best reporting comes from Tyler Durden

We had a poster on here the other day say he was working rescue and there were many many government helicopters working all day everyday. Where did this "stand down" report come from?

This is dubious and likely bullshite or half truths.

None, everyone has an agenda.
Operations airdrop
Samaritan’s purse
Fleet of angels
All doing solid work delivering supplies and rescuing. Tons of videos out there.

The only other reason I can think of, other than gross incompetence, utter vindictiveness, or utilitarianism, that they didn’t send the military is that they are preparing for war. That may be their only chance at preventing Trump from regaining office.

How do you know that's legitimate?

Are these even available?

Eventually, yes.
Prior to that, private citizens were saving people in need. They said that the government told them to stop flights, or be arrested. The areas impacted were not restricted air space at the time.

He doesn’t. No idea when this was taken, these are more than likely surge ambulances staged for after the storm passes.
Very common practice in all states. The states pushes these out.
I could be wrong but I’d bet this was taken before the storm.

quote:Yes. Some stores are open even in the small towns.
Are these even available?
quote:I read that too. But that contradicts the paragraph i previously quoted because it said only privates were rescuing and the govt was idle.

That was what was reported early on.
