The Falcons might be a solid squad if they drafted a good player in the first round

Last year. A good player that could help now I mean. As much talk as there was about Penix at the time, he is never mentioned at all during their games. Maybe down the line it won’t be a wasted pick but this team has enough to be a good team and could have used an upper echelon first round talent that could help them now. IMO

It’s kinda genius though if you think about it.

Can’t make a colossal mistake at one of the numerous positions of need that is under the microscope if no one expects him to contribute for years

They spent a top 10 pick on a stud RB for him to split carries with Tyler Allgier though.

Wasn't drafted to be talked about during this season.

Who isn’t as good as Allgeier.

I take it back. Bijan looked the part there

Falcons beat the Saints because of 3 lucky breaks…

Muffed bonehead play by Shaheed…
Right Place at the right time batted pick six, and a PI to put them in field goal range.

Or Rome Oduzeday would have made for a stout WR tandem or Brock bowers although they probably scared after Kyle pitts

The dumbest play of the season.

Mooney is looking pretty good. Pitts aint bad, he just never got targets.

They could have got an edge rusher bc Judon looks like he ate his way out of New England.

They should have tried to trade down into the teens, picked up an extra pick, and taken whichever edge of Dallas Turner, Latu, or Jared Verse that was available. Or maybe even the best corner on their board.

They outsmarted themselves with the Cousins and Penix situation.

I don't think receivers are the problem with the falcons.

Pitts has mediocre separation numbers, the guy can't get open.

Athletic dominance in college doesn't necessarily carry over to the pros.

The falcons are missing a dominant pass rusher and their OL stinks.

They obviously picked incorrectly with Pitts, regardless of whether or not you think he is good or bad. They should not have taken Bijan. They should not have taken Penix.

They have also largely missed on every pick after the ones above. They have not drafted well period.

Spent Top 10 picks on a RB, TE, and backup QB all in the past 4 years.
