I have to wonder about Illinois. The rural areas are conservative, but Chicago bleeds blue. Except... they have been getting inundated with illegals by the Biden administration, so much so that the black communities are rising up to complain about them. They know who is flying them in and putting them up in hotels, then putting them in their neighborhoods and they aren't happy about it at all. See also: NYC.

I'm not saying I think they'll go red, just that the result may be a bit closer to purple than the Dems will ever be willing to believe (and it all has to do with the actual performance of the Biden/Harris administration).

And if those strongholds are losing some of their blue, what are happening in areas already considered to be precarious for them?
