My own opinion- I still like the show, but it's slacking significantly compared to the past seasons. Seemed like there was a lot more suspense and buildup then, whereas this season they kinda just seem to be going through the motions. I guess most of all, the focus isn't so much the quest and how the team works together to achieve it, it's more about relationships now, and oh by the way we have to save the world.

Considering the entire cast (except maybe TW) fall just left of Trotsky on the political spectrum, they probably wanted to kill off the evil gun creator.

Ehh…maybe so but who cares. We’re talking about gamers/voice actors here.
I listened to the whole first campaign so maybe I have a different perspective but VM S3 seems very disjointed. I don’t mind the relationship stuff but you have to move at a pretty brisk pace to cover what they’re trying to cover in 30 min episodes.
I would’ve preferred longer episodes for each vestige quest.

I've listened to every one up to this August. Starting burning out a bit. They've already announced a complete departure from Mighty Nein from the series, so the story will be completely different.

Finale/final 3 were great. So much packed into barely 60 minutes. Admittedly, I have no idea of the set up for next season, but it looks solid (and it has been picked up for a Season 4)

did this show fall off? it doesn't get discussed here much but saw they just released a spinoff series by the same people behind this called The Mighty Nein.

I need to restart Vox Machina. I fell asleep during an episode once and amazon played like 5 more so not sure where I left off.
