Dennis Allen not kicking the FG may have ultimately cost the team the win.

You have to take 3 there instead of going for it on 4th and 1 in a 3-0 game.

They needed a yard. In hindsight- yes, but at the time it seemed we were going to need more than 3

Add it to the list, there was many things that costed the win

3 turnovers and a punt block leading to zero points

3 guys running into each other on 3rd and 16

I don't mind the call to try and go up by 10. Execution was terrible.

This old Saints fan knew that we would lose as soon as he didn’t kick it.

There's a ton of errors you can point at and say cost us the win - at the end of the day, we made WAY too many mistakes and there's really no one to blame but ourselves for this one

Could say the same about Eagles. Siriani could have taken points on several occasions.

Which says more about DA than Siriani. Olsen touched on it a few times, going for it on 4th and short is what Siriani does and what made him successful early in his career. DA is traditionally more conservative and is the type to take points when they’re available. DA did not follow who he was, got caught in the emotions of the game and did something out of the norm, and left 3 points on the field.

Before that dumbass 3rd down play I told myself it was four down territory. After the 3rd down turd, it was obvious we needed to take the 3 points

Agree.

I don't care what the percentages say. You play the flow of the game. This game was a pitcher's duel. Take the points.

I can honestly say that if we didn't score a TD to go up 10, I didn't think we were going to win.

I didn’t have an issue with going for it. The Main issue was lining up Kamara 8 yards deep in the backfield with no lead blockers on 3rd and Inches. He isn’t Taysom Hill. The right play on 3rd down was either a sneak or playaction pass. After we lost a yard on 3rd, we definitely could have kicked or still gone for it. Kubiak was just lost without Taysom today and basically ran our old Pete Carmichael offense.

I agree, but it’s cancelled out by Philly not kicking two easy field goals.

Despite all of the playing errors, mistakes, injuries and lack of offense for 3+ quarters, had we kicked the FG and the extra point after the TD, we more than likely win 16-15.
