Sorry I’m late baws was trying to get some yard work done before all the action started and lost track of time

They better be wearing the Los Astros jerseys again. We dominate in those bad boys

once again just swapping Diaz and Caratini, idk why this is so amusing to me
going from Maldy to two of the best hitting catchers in the lead that are so good we have to have them both in the field every day to be in the lineup

No offense to Maldy, but remember when we got rid of Castro and won the World Series.
I remember.
I remember.

Yainer and JP barreled those balls up. Let’s get some runs.

Heyward is absolutely useless

Jason remembers. He told me so himself. LOL
He was pulling for the Dodgers. But as we know, it wasn’t long before he was back in the fold
That Heyward AB is why his career is essentially over. Can’t hit .200 without your outs being productive
And if anyone knows a quick way to find out where the Astros rank in getting the man in from 3rd w less than 2 outs, I’d appreciate it. Has to be way down there

yeah I’d actually prefer Singleton and Dubon in the lineup for the postseason (requires Diaz/Caratini to alternate catcher and DH and Yed in LF)

Can’t believe Yed missed the pitch before
Posted on 9/22/24 at 1:59 pm to wahoocs
Yed’s gonna be fine but we have to take him out anyway

Astros GM Dana Brown, on the team’s pregame show on @sportstalk790, said OF Chas McCormick will swing the bat tomorrow. “We’re hoping he gets back for last weekend of the season,” he said. “He’s feeling a lot better, minimal pain.”
In other words, condolences to Mrs. McCormick.
And also Mrs. Alvarez it appears.

UGH! Yordan holding the knee. Any of the rest and I'd think it was not so bad. But he's got the knee problems.

There wasn’t any torque there
Impact only
That’s my almost medical opinion

The way he walked down the steps of the dugout didn't look great

1 for 3 getting runner home from 3rd w less than 2 outs in this game
And only b/c of an offline throw on a shallow pop fly

Terrible terrible technique on the slide. Basically “hip dropped” on his own knee.
