The minus 24 is pretty high for me to bet on LSU.

But then I think about those Southern California boys dealing with the heat and humidity of an afternoon game.

Is that already baked into the spread?

It should probably be higher.
UCLA just lost by 29 to Indiana

I think kickoff time affects the home team more than anything.

11am kick is not good for home team. Better for visitor.

This will get more evident in the ACC/big10 when their east coast teams play a night game in California.

Reciprocal when Cali teams play morning kicks on East coast.

Depends on how you apply it.

Doubt it. They got smashed at home with 2 weeks to prepare by a middle of the pack BG10 team

We're 0-3 ATS so for this year.

I feel like this is the week we break that streak but that's just based on "vibes", hard to say. I wouldn't touch that line if I were you.

I’m not betting shite on this game, but if I did I think we cover? This has to be the game we come out with our hair on fire or I’m not sure the light will ever turn on this year

It's obvious that LSU defense, although improved, can't stop a nose bleed. We are susceptible to explosive plays because our open field tackling is worse than dog shite.

Most of the posters on here said the 22.5 was too high, and easy money on UCLA. I disagreed and think LSU will destroy them, especially since we haven't covered yet and are overdue. I did see it was moving up. A little different than the last 3 games. Only way I think LSU will not cover is if they pull Nuss early say when we are up by 28 at the end of 3...still would like our chances.

they had plenty of stops the other day, in fact, outside of the big plays, they were consistently stopping them.

Very well could be too high, remains to be seen. However, for reference, UCLA is the worst power rated power 4 team in the country

LA has been in the 100s for months, I know but it's different in the south, Wrong! Let me tell you something humid and hot sucks,Desert heat with no humidity is HOT AS F too! I don't think it's going to be anywhere near Southern La. hot this weekend! We missed tackling on 1st possession last week and the whole game so weather is the last thing we need to worry about! We need Laron Landry Men that want to HIT

The offense should be fine. The heat is more of an impact on defense than offense, only because offense controls its pace. If an offense is sluggish then they can slow it down and get into the stance with 8/10 seconds instead of 20/28 seconds. If the Defense is sluggish the opposing offense can speed things up so the defense is more of a concern in terms of which side of the ball. But LSU practices in this every day so they should be fine unless they can't get off the field on defense.

Now if its pouring then that would be a completely different story.

Games the week before bigger games can have an impact on the way they play or don't play. I don't care how good they are because they will want to kick our arse when they come to Tiger Stadium and WE are the ones that need to get better fast and figure out what the problem is with play calling but most importantly making plays! Tackling from in front, Not tackling from behind like most of the team does because either out of position or afraid to hit! Gotta wrap em up!
