“Yo, you Sharin’?” Meaning?

My sons eight-year-old football team had a birthday party today at a laser tag place.
So, here is the story.
He Is the only white football player on the team.
So I might be at a loss, culturally, and what was said to me. I have zero frikin clue.
While bringing my son to the party, I told the mother that I was going to get her son a gift card to GameStop. She said that was fine.maybe she didn’t tell the husband.
Furthermore, I got my son $50 dollar card a card that allowed him to play games at the arcade and he shared it with his friends. By that, I mean, his teammates said, “yo JJ, gimme that card”. I’m laughing as I type this.
But then the father of the son approached me about an hour later and asked me
“Yo dog are you sharin’?”
And I asked him exactly what that meant because I got his son a gift card. He asked me again. “You Sharin?”
There are two guys I went to high school with and I pulled one aside and asked him what that means. He had no clue.
What Am I missing on? What are you sharing means? Is it similar to like like “hey y’all wildn out.?” Did he think I didn’t not get his son a card?
What am I missing?

After asking him what he meant and not getting a straight answer you should have just told him "ain't sharin' shite" then hit your chest and stared him down...hard.
