Posting career leaders in the NBA is irrelevant.

She also has the assist record. I would imagine most of her turnovers were failed assists.

Her passing skills had a lot to do with it, it took the girls on her team 1/2 the season for then to be able understand her passing capabilities. They are getting better but still have a hard time with them

When you peruse the single-season assist leaders in the NBA by year, they invariably also led the league in turnovers that year. Who'd suspect?

Isiah
Kidd
Stockton

Sometimes the greats think their teammates are as smart as them or expect a lot from their teammates and take chances

Even more so when the WNBA plays 40 regular season games and the NBA plays 82. Then add playoffs

Chris Paul is 3rd in all time assist while being 35th in turnovers. This is why he is considered the quintessential
point guard.

2016-17 was a crazy season. Both Harden and Westbrook went crazy with turnovers. They both averaged over 5 TOs a game. They were also the top 2 MVP guys (with Westbrook winning).

Assist to turnover rate used to be a pretty popular stat, especially when comparing PGs. Most of the really good ones were in the 3+ range. It's really bad when it's sub 2..

Not by 50% over #2 all time.

When you have the ball that much, you're going to make some turnovers
