Trump did well by challenging Kamala on the late term abortion question.

Remember, this is in the context where 71% of the U.S. wants a ban on third trimester abortions and 80% would like to see abortions relegated to only to the 1st trimester.

Kamala couldn't answer the question on late term abortions.

Trump is on the right side of the abortion issue.

Its such a simple thing to flip on them. He needs to start flipping the script. Leftist states are WAAAAAYYYYYY past whats allowed in Europe. Nowhere even close.

Start ticking off stats from this

THEY are the extremists.

Its not hard.

Exactly! We should be winning g the abortion debate easily. But it will likely lose the election for Republicans.

He asked the moderator to ask her, and of course, she didn’t

He REALLY should have hit back tho when she said that no state had those laws.
It really is becoming necessary to point out just how extreme these people are wanting to take it. And VERY necessary to point out that none of the states fighting for it, cannot get it passed, or cannot get it through the courts.

And it would put a dent in their pro-abortion propaganda. There's a lot of moms out there, that would still go the abortion route. But could not take a look at their children, and consider an abortion that late in the pregnancy.

All trump needs to say is that it is a states rights issue

The president should have no say in it

That's what he said just prior to challenging Kamala on the late term abortion question.

Two things every republican needs to do.

1. Bring an ultrasound picture from the 20 week anatomy scan.

2. Say I believe this needs to be protected along with essentially every other civilized country in the world. Why does my opponent think that in the US this would be ok to kill but in France this is murder?

Put them on DEFENSE.

History is going to judge us cruelly and correctly on abortion.

The meaning of life is to procreate. We’re carving humans out of women out of convenience.

It kind of pisses me off that our country's political fate is determined by abortion. It's so grotesque.

Too many people in this country will look the other way regarding immigration, crime, and the economy - so they can abort a baby.

She literally just said she wants Roe v wade rules reinstated. She also said she wasn't in favor of late term abortions when Trump said 7 8 or 9 months ....

And no one wants a 2 month old aborted. That was just Trump's insane ramblings.

He lied when he said that most Americans and "all legal scholars" wanted it sent back to the states. That was wildly unpopular.

He also lied when he said their aborting babies after birth. He referenced the West Virginia governor, who was a pediatric doctor, in an out of context qoute that is obviously severely misleading.

Dude doesn't have anything real to run on and he got hosed last night for it.

I don’t think you understand just how off the rails your far left wacko colleagues have gone. You might want to revise your claim that “nobody” wants that.

I am as pro life as they come. Trump is the moderate. Kamala and Walz are radical. Those 8 babies who were born and left to die in Minnesota prove how radical Tim Walz is.

True. Not all legal scholars want that. Just the vast majority, including RBG when she was alive. Thankfully the law doesn’t consider what is popular at my given moment.

Specifically, where is the lie? I’d like to learn more about it.

His pre-pandemic performance as President isn’t real? Were you too young to enjoy that prosperity?

He actually said it multiple times.

That's an insane lie. RBG wanted codified abortion on the federal level, which is also popular among "legal scholars". Same with people. Trump arguing that democrats wanted it to the states is absurd and a blatant lie.

quote:

Specifically, where is the lie?

The governor was asked about a specific situation where a parent would ask for an abortion during labor due to the fetus being severely fricked up and having basically no chance for survival. He said, in that instance, "The infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”.

Trump taking that qoute and telling everyone that we're having post-birth abortions is ridiculous and a dumb lie.

His pre-pandemic performance was abhorrent and any economic success you are suggesting is him riding off on Obama's economy.
