Immigration Has Killed Civic Nationalism

When you have millions of foreigners in the country who operate on tribal and religious lines, and you see that every ethnic group that come to the US, Indians, Jews, Africans... it makes civic nationalism untenable, because its effectively one way disarmament.
You're agreeing not to operate as an ethnic or religious collective, while everyone else does. And so you end up much weaker than you should be, while the other groups are much more powerful. And while we've lived with this for decades, I do think it's over, and simply because the situation has gotten so bad.
When Daryll Cooper went after Churchill, he was actually attacking the post war consensus, which is Civic Nationalism

I'd argue that having a large contingent of natives seeing fit to flood the country with illegal immigrants and telling them they should feel no obligation to adapt to our practices, norms, sentiments, values, etc. is probably worse than the immigrants themselves in this regard

The immigrants are just a tool, and our enemy is the people who are importing them
And this perhaps a point for a different topic, but there's no scenario where we should import tens of thousands of foreign people with an average IQ of 65. Anyone doing that clearly has bad intentions and is your enemy. And the only immigration that makes sense for us is probably European immigration.

You’re right but it doesn’t change the point of the thread. It just means the native ethnocoalition is divided in half exacerbating the issue even further

If you blow up the ethnos with diversity, you end up with tyranny, because that's the only force that can hold it all together. The lack of a coherent shared culture, and the genetic distance between the populations becomes a problem, we are all inherently tribal and the genetic link matters. That was true in ancient Greece and it's true today.

People want so badly to believe this is not the case and that a piece of paper sitting under glass in DC will make things okay.
