How about don’t make predictions anymore. Or don’t forecast.
Campbell said we are going to run the ball. We didn’t impose our will for four quarters as he led you to believe we would do.
We also don’t need to inform anyone of a physical fight we are going to have.
Some really good coaches out there have done just fine by feeding the media bullshite coachspeak. They tell their players the same and then go have that release on the field.
Harness the talk and put it into action on Saturday.
It’s almost like saying that talking to the media about what your will is for the game is cathartic for them….and they can spend it now or refrain from the catharsis until game time.
I don’t remember BKs teams at ND going out and saying we are going to impose our will before games. Probably because it does nothing for you. There’s no getting inside the head of a player with pregame shittalking.
This is more than a three year turn-around-time.

I predict that when we run the ball we will run the ball and when we pass the ball we will pass the ball. I'm not guessing either. I know this for a FACT!

probably because you were not reading Notre Dame press clips on a fricking tuesday.
A coach saying “if they drop 8 and have 3 down line men we’ll run the ball” is just fundamental football common sense.
it’s not a prediction. its not trying to get in anyone’s head.
it just a thing you do.

It’s actually in his head and maybe he should punish himself with media talk until he goes out and produces a team he predicted would be great by year three.
ETA. Funny thing is, I think Kelly has believed in that over the years and a younger version of kelly would agree what what was said above.

You have to do both.
And BK eluded to that. But there’s not need to tell anyone that you have a response to their action.
Your press conferences can become quicker and easier if you just coachspeak. It’s not hard.

you're bitching for the sake of it. BK was answering a question of about the balance between the run game and pass game, stating the the box has been stacked constantly forcing us to throw. This out of context quote you've added was to say that if the box was not stacked with 8 guys, you'd see us run the ball more. That's him stating the obvious, not talking shite. Stop being emotional.
