Looked very good on offense. I would lie to see him in the backfield

He was a QB in HS. Guggenheim played QB at Curtis. Look what he did.

Jujuan Johnson can be a game changer on offense as his career advances.
No way he plays in the secondary going forward.

Did his number get called after the TD? Seems like I only saw him targeted like twice.

eta: Targeted 3 times, 1 for the TD

Is the best player on lsu's team. He should be on the field every down. He is a winner and a game changer. He is the closest thing to HB7 in many years. He should be

Returning punts/ko's
rb
Slot
Wr
Db

He was/is better than any other lsu player currently on the team coming out of hs. Almost 15 thousand all purpose yards as a player says so

He looks like a really high ceiling gadget player wouldn’t mind him at wildcat to see if he can get the run going

I guarantee Johnson will not get utilize this weekend. Bookmark it. I will be surprised if he got more than 5 meaningful snaps.

For whatever reason, BK gets real tight with personnel in conference play. Especially on defense.

sure.

absolutely nothing like Mathieu at all.

Returning punts/ko's
No, Thomas is a better return man.

rb
He can share snaps back there as a receiving back sure.
quote:

Slot
no. Daniels and Anderson have been good in the slot. He can play a few plays there but he's never played receiver in his life.

Db
He's about 10th in line in the defensive backfield.

He was a great 2A player. Him accumulating yards against Newman does not mean he was a "better player coming out of high school" than about 30 other guys on the roster. He was very productive, but we seriously need to slow down here.

He only knew like 2 plays. It's gonna take him a little while. Coaches probably wanted to reward him with a TD since he was willing to change positions midseason. I'd expect him to get a lot more run vs south alabama

Nah, he’s good enough to play. They’re not redshirting him.

Week 2- 26.6% Baker’s goal was 20-25%

This week will tell us a lot. If they draw up a couple of plays to get him in space with the ball, even if he’s a decoy, it will show that the staff likely doesn’t plan to redshirt him. They would likely save his reps for the remaining non-con games or games that are out of reach if they want to keep his redshirt.

If doesn’t see the field this week, then a redshirt is still on the table assuming no more injuries to RBs.

Thats not how coaching works. They call plays they want to achieve whatever goal they are seeking utilizing the best player they believe can accomplish it. A team player changes position when asked for the good of the team. Its also to his advantage to get on the field more quickly.

I am all in on him playing Running Back. We severely lack speed there. Kaleb Jackson is just terrible. He's slow. He runs straight into the pile and makes no attempt to bounce it outside.

Ju Juan Johnson is what we need as we absolutely need speed at RB to bounce it outside bc our OLine cant block for shite in running.

I disagree with this. He surely can't be the 10th best player in our DB room that is 3 stars and Grambling St type transfers across the board.

You were doing well until this. They moved up to 4A for 2023 and played teams like Acadiana, Ruston, Woodlawn, Jesuit and St Thomas More. He did it vs some of the biggest and best in the state last season.

Yeah, I’m not sure why the Shorthorns offered a big NIL to Arch, he played his entire career against 2A schools.

The only 2 players at LSU that were high school QBs and played different position were Joseph Addai and Russell Shepard.

Addai had a good LSU career and Shepard's was mixed, mainly due to Les Miles offensive philosophies. Both went on to successful NFL careers at least.

Here's to Johnson having a better career than both of them.

Would you tell the truth to see him in backfield?
