Trump using an earpiece?

In the middle of this incoherent nonsense yesterday answering a question about affordable childcare, Trump starts talking about, i think, trade tariffs? (its hard to tell - Its like he is broken, just stringing together random catch phrases) so at the 2:05 mark his head makes a little movement and then completely out of context repeats
"I have to stay with child care, i want to stay with child care"
Then goes back to taking incoherently about "the numbers" and growth in something that has zero to do with childcare (or anything really).
It pretty obvious his handler said "stay with child care" in his ear to keep him on topic - he repeated it - and since its a subject he knows nothing and/or cares nothing about and the fact that he is old and with failing mental capabilities he continued blabbering nonsense.
Honestly during the Q/A for this event all of Trumps answers to specific questions are all over the place.
This one was just crazy man under the bridge bad - the question is about balancing trade with US security policy in relation to china and he jumps from the price of children's dolls to making nuclear button jokes in a few seconds.

The debate will be interesting. I wonder if after this, Democrats will ask for an earpiece exam before the debate - like Trump did with Biden in 2020?

How do you equate this with Trump using an earpiece? If he had an earpiece, one would think his answers would be "exceptional".

I would think it would be much more difficult to give some sort of speech or debate with an earpiece. It wouldn't make it easier. That's why I never believed Biden has used one. He would be non functional.

Kamala is too dumb to know that you don’t put your phone up to your ear when there’s an earpiece in.

Other than the very first sentence - if you can call random words a sentence - he never mentions child care again, like he forgets the question - until randomly inserting the phase completely out of context - then he continues to talk about foreign policy.
