Is Nuss afraid to run the ball?

We lost a big dimension for the defense to account for. It would be nice to give the defense something else to think about. Is he afraid to get hit?

Was honesty fine with Nuss’ play, except the one pass where he completely missed Anderson.

That play might’ve cost of the game.

But feel like BK has reigned in Nuss. Seemed much more conservative last night vs. his past few appearances.

Nuss was fine, but he needs to stop giving up plays where we can still get something positive. Several times he was quick to throw it away when he had a clear lane to pick up 2, 3, hell even more yards with his feet.

I agree with you.

There were a few plays where he got rid of it too quick.

I wonder if that was a BK instruction cause he used to hold it too long and then chuck a Brett Favre pass lol.

I’m hoping they’ll notice it in film study this week.

There is a tremendous dropoff from Nuss to backup QB. This is certainly playing a factor in designed QB runs and scrambles

Nuss is not a burner by any means but he should be capable to move as well as Burrow.

I seem to remember him rolling out a ton last year and throwing on the run but we didn’t see any of that last night

Do coaches tell Nuss, feel free to run and escape or they are forcing the game manager qb

His mobility is easily comparable to Burrow.

Right. It was obvious they were forcing him to stay in the pocket. We’ve seen him evade and throw on the run plenty but the coaches handcuffed him
