Womack

Where is Womack?
Seems like Shand and Swinson got most of the snaps at DE.
Thought Baker called a decent game until the last drive. Can’t rush 3 and let Moss have plenty of time that drive.
Needed Womack and Perk off the edge every snap that last drive.

He played a good bit. Swinson and Jones were downright dominant. I’d say Womack had 15-20 snaps, but it’s hard to play more than guys who are balling out

Came in made a play and got benched while #4 did nothing as usual except have a guy wrapped up and let him go. Kelly is a bum

he hasn’t played enough to have “as usual” added to the end of that sendence
Swinson played pretty well, just didn’t get the sacks to show for it

Brian Kelly got the Womack put on him last night by Riley.

Swinson would've had a great game of he could tackle.
He had a tfl 3 yards in the backfired, but he tried to "throw" the rb which promptly gave that rb a 9 yard gain.
Was one of those dumbass moments.

They rotated a lot last night, as the staff said they would, so he was out there.
Maybe you didn’t notice, but Jones, Swinson and Shand were whipping their Tackles all night.
Perkins cannot hold up as a DE for an entire game. Anyone who knows football knows this. He’s just not big or strong enough to play the role other than a few snaps per game. And they did move him down for edge pressure several times last night. He blew up a couple of plays.

I’m not asking for the entire game. I understand that isn’t viable, as Perk’s too small for that and a LB primarily.
Just the last drive with the game on the line and obvious pass situation.
That’s when we need our best pass rushers goin after the QB, and Perk is our fastest off the edge by far.
Instead we rushed 3 for a lot of those while Perk was back in coverage. Of course, Moss picked us apart.

I agree with you here. We don’t have the secondary to hold up against that. We had to rush five to keep Moss off balance.
I will say, we got some pressure and two pass bat downs out of a 3 man rush, which would have never happened last season, but it was still the wrong move on the last drive.

I shouted at the TV on that play and scared the dog.
