He led the team in tackles with 8 last night.

And playing as a gunner on ST's He was the first one down to cover on a few fair catches. Not many guys can get into the backfield and stop the QB/RB at the same time for a key 3d down stop. Call it s stretch, but I'd keep him on the field...

He plays MLB. He’s not going to be getting 2 to 3 sacks a game like he was when we had purely an edge rusher. He led the team and tackles and blew up a couple of plays.

Was surprised to see him as a liability in coverage, and the targeting penalty was icing on the cake. Would love to see Toviano step into his spot for the 1st half next week and not look back. We need better athletes out there in our secondary.

Perkins played well. Penn looked lost on numerous plays

He’s not disciplined in maintaining his gap assignments and that’s why he wasn’t playing as much in the second half.

My problem with Perkins is it seems he is ineffective on the inside blitzes. I maybe wrong, but it seemed when I paid attention to him specifically it was on inside middle blitzes and he would get picked up and stopped in his tracks or knocked on his butt.
If you are going to blitz him, I think it needs to be from the outside.

They continue playing him in the wrong position. Return him to playing the position he was playing his freshman year and see the difference.
