That’s nuts.Was it mating season?

I don't know but I've never seen anything close to this during mating season.

How is that sustainable? There's only so many turtles to eat

Looks like it's time for the Landry clan to make a run to Georgia to show those folks how to "Choot em" and get them to the processors.

Georgia has an unlimited supply of miniature poodles.

I like alligators but that’s a bit much

I hate youtubeshorts for the simple reason there's no context or comments section or video description. Was this in one of the canals in the Okefenokee? I went once, was surprised at the number of alligators. It wasn't like in the video, but I can see how it would be if they all came out at once.

This should be an interrogation canal for these hard arse punks ruining our cities.

I used to hunt around Pecan Island back in the late 80's. There were a couple of bayous where at certain times of the year, they looked like that.

I feel like there should be a Miami joke in this thread, but I have nothing.

As others said, maybe it was mating season or more likely a drought and the only water in that swamp was the canals and main channels.

I've seen something like that near one of the weirs near Rockefeller before. In was in the evening time however, and you could see red eyes with a flashlight for miles.

This is a crazy video. I’ve spent 30+ nights deep in the Okefenokee, and have paddled every trail multiple times. This looks like the Okee, but I’ve never seen anything like this before. Not sure when this was taken, but water levels are not low in the swamp right now, nor is it mating season.
This has to be a photoshop job.

Many, many, many years ago in the middle of Spring, I took my flat bottomed boat out to fish in Lacassine Refuge. On the bank of the canal going out there were a hundred alligators sunning themselves. It didn't bother me back then. But it probably would now.

I saw a video like this about 10 years ago. I would not want to be in that boat.
