If you want an upscale dinner try Ambrosia. Went there about a month ago and it was amazing! Also Perfect Pig is great for a more casual lunch/dinner.

Bad time to go. Otherwise, have fun. Destin ice market past Rosemary has some good wine deals.

Grouper on top of that grit cake is my favorite meal on 30a.

It’s a coin flip on whether they overcook the fish or get it perfect.

We ate at Surfing Deer when we were there last month. It was great. Highly recommend.

Citizen at Alys is the best place on 30A, but the OP might not meet its standards.

Maybe it is pronounced that way because that is how Alys Stephens pronounced her name.

Skunk Gulley is way overrated imo. Food sucks but you cant argue the location.

Yes it is. I typed that wrong.

We had the tuna poke which was bland and boring. The grouper was dry and probably the worst piece of fish I had there during the week we went. The fried shrimp were soggy and sad looking.

Red bar won the prize for best grouper.
