If you don't pay any taxes your vote should count for less.
I should have more say as to how my taxes are spent vs. those who are getting free abortions and eating steak while on welfare.

If you receive any form of government assistance you have not paid for (in taxes [SS] or in kind [veteran's benefits]), you cannot vote.
If you don't own property, you should be barred from voting in property tax elections.

This, what, at first impression, sounds or seems like an undemocratic aberration, is exactly why bond measures require 60% approval to pass. When 50% aren't makers but takers, there would never be a bond measure that didn't pass.

How on earth would our government audit or vet that? The time and expense only seems like a further waste of our dollars — not that they won’t be wasted anyways.

States should have their own electoral college. Too many big cities control the entire state.

I walked past a Second harvest food giveaway recently. Over 200 cars at least in line for an hour before start. Saw many many new cars and 90% were less than 5 yrs old. Most drivers were 40+ lbs over weight. All of this 7:30am-8:30 during a work day.
