LSU Nostalgia Thread (Pics)

In honor of the upcoming football season, here's a collection of images of LSU and LSU Football over the years.
1800-1900s

1915 Roster
1921 - festivities before the LSU Arkansas game in Shreveport.
1924 - the original construction of the east and west sidelines completed in 1924, seating 12,000 people.
1931 - the sidelines were extended upwards to accommodate an additional 10,000 fans, raising capacity to 22,000.
1931 – LSU debuted its stadium lights to mark the birth of 'Saturday Night in Death Valley'
1936 - seating capacity was increased to 46,000 with the addition of 24,000 seats in the north end.

1940s
1950s
1953 - the south end was closed to turn the horseshoe into a bowl, increasing the seating capacity to 67,720.

so clean. I wonder what people would think of instead of doing the upper deck they just kept going higher around the whole bowl with some suites and a pressbox mixed in.

A month or so. I thought I was done several times then I'd find another collection of old photos I wanted to include which led me down some rabbit holes.
I was trying to find some pictures from the '79 LSU/USC game but really couldn't find anything worth wild so I wrapped it up
