MLB history will be made tomorrow when a player plays for both teams

Danny Jansen started the season with the Blue Jays. They played against Boston in June, where he started as the catcher, but the game was suspended in the 2nd inning due to rain. Jansen was traded to Boston last month at the end of the trade deadline. Boston has now sent their other catcher, who started the game against the Blue Jays, down to the minors. The game is going to be resumed in the 2nd inning tomorrow and Jansen will be catching for Boston.

Jansen was batting for the Jays when the game was suspended. They will have to pinch-hit for him when the game resumes

Soooo, Jansen will technically be catching against himself, until the pinch hitter is announced into the game
