Why Destroy Southern Culture?

If you want to know what the demoralization campaign against the American South is about - tearing down their monuments, trying to force a sense of shame about their ancestors - just look at Germany. It’s not just WW2 stuff that they’re not supposed to honor. It’s WW1, the entire Prussian military tradition. The country as a an entity has been considered too dangerous to allow it to have any pride. A German man once explained to me that even fairly innocuous war songs were suppressed as ‘dangerous.’
What’s the result? A totally pliant, subservient state that allows its infrastructure to be destroyed (NS2), and elected governments that are basically destroying the national identity. This is the end goal of people who hate the South. They want a placid population filled with men like Tim Walz.

The Civil War never really stopped according to the North. They used Reconstruction then rolled straight into a a cultural war while the economic war never stopped.

I don’t know. I’ve heard several New Yorkers and Californians here in the Nashville area complaining about having to live side by side with the backwards Tennessee hicks.

Southern culture has always been anathema to American pop culture, which has historically been dominated by NYC and LA. Our culture is agrarian. Theirs is urban. Our culture is Protestant. Theirs is Catholic and Jewish. Our culture places the church as the center of the community. Theirs is the schoolhouse. Our culture wants to be left alone. Theirs wants all of the world to have a government identical to theirs, with zero regard to their customs and history.

Look at the demographics of the states that are ranked low in those categories and see if there’s something in common you can find about them other than the fact they produce elite football players. We sure as hell don’t need any self loathing white guilt ridden leftists moving here
