Any place to try these?
Anyone have them?
Getting some hits on YouTube, never heard of them before.
Reviews on line pretty good.

Aren’t those the ones you sort of build yourself?

It would be fun to make one.

My dad made some “Golfsmith” clubs back in the day.

Maltby is the only thing that I have never tried myself.

My wifes nephew built a forged set of irons a few years ago and really liked them until the airlines lost them.

I believe they will assemble them for you now.

Im.not sure there is an advantage to them with all of the direct to the consumer companies now.

Yes and no. Can buy the heads and pick your own parts. ( get them from them they have a lot of options) Or, they sell “packs “(their shafts ) and will assemble for you.

Saw them on YouTube “let’s play through “
Guy gave 98/100 rating. Here is a short full vid on YouTube.

LINK

Also has vid that compares them to Tacoma and other irons.
Pretty much half price of brand names. Would like to try, anyone with info would be helpful.

I bought a TS1 IM 7 iron to try and it's really nice. I bought a used set of TS2's yesterday and once I get the shafts changed I'll give a full report. If anyone is interested in the 7 iron it has a KBS Tour 110 stiff and a Golf pride CPx grip. I'd loan it out as long as you pay shipping plus 60.00 in case I don't get it back, but I'd refund obviously once I got it back minus shipping. Or if anyone local to Florence AL wants to hit it I can do that as well.

Thanks , but need regular shaft or I would drive there.
Was looking at TS3 ( game improvement) every review owners love them. I assume u do also or you wouldn’t be on your second set.
I may just pull trigger and purchase, since so many good vibes.
Do keep posted on how u like the new ones.

I'm a regular shaft guy as well, but I hit that one great. I have a set of KBS Tour 105's REG on the way fo the TS2's I bought since they have Accra X-Stiff graphites in them. The TS2's are being closed out and a set of heads is 299.00 new. I am on a very strict budget or I would have a new set of TS1's but I got the TS2's for 165 on marketplace.

I have a blended set of the heads in my shopping cart and just waiting for my shoulder to get well enough to fully swing. Ts-3s making up the bulk of the set. Those will be my next irons.

Pic added for those unfamiliar:

LINKI bought the TS1IM heads and put them on projectx shafts that I pulled from my old Ping i15’s. Couple range sessions and 3 rounds with them and I love them.

eta… I can never get pictures to load

Edited to say if there’s any irons that deserve pics it’s the Maltby ones. They look way better in person than on the website

Were there any issues with finished length? I have read about people ending up with different lengths in the finished clubs due to different hosel depths.

TBH I think all my irons are probably 1/2” shorter than they should be, I haven’t measured them. With the jacked up lofts I get the same or more distance with the same club.

Just giving my $0.02. Less about the irons and more about the business.

They are terrible to work with.

I placed an order for 1 club in July with a lead time of 10-15days. No problem. 15 days passes and nothing. I emailed and got no response. Figured I'd give it another week. Called them. They said it was flagged, but now that I called they would release it. Why was it flagged? Literally wouldn't answer the question. It just was by the system.

Fast forward 2 more weeks, I reach back out and they said it will be another 10-15 days. This happened this morning.

I asked what clubs they are building right now and she said orders from August 13th, mine was July 17th.

I submitted an investigation with my credit card and explained everything, they credited me my order and have opened an inquiry with them.

How do you like the Max milled wedge so far ? Thinking of new wedges next. Currently playing SM6 Vokeys I bought used cheap.

I was between these and Takomo. I ended up going with Takomo. Both are direct to consumer, so priced about the same. I just saw more positive reviews for Takomo. Did a ton of research and watched lots of vids.

I been having them about 2 months and love them. Most forgiving club i've ever played. I can hit a toe shot and it still flies straight, might lose 10-15 yards though.
