we also celebrated our 50 year anniversary this month. Are there any special festivities planned for homecoming? I plan to surprise her with tickets to the homecoming game.

Just get your tickets now and being married 50 years is a special enough thing by itself. Get you some solid tickets and enjoy the game.

First, congrats on the 50 years. That is truly awesome.
About homecoming--honestly, nobody really pays attention to it like they did back in your day (and mine too, and I am probably 15-20 years younger than you). Yeah, there will be a homecoming parade and a homecoming queen, but it just isn't the "must-do" event that it used to be.

First congrats on the 50th...Milestone!
Second, get there early in the day and enjoy the entire Homecoming day. Alot will be going on. Hopefully the game is a night game. Both teams probably will be highly ranked and will be a pivotal game for both teams as far as the playoffs. Get your tickets NOW. Will be a sellout for sure.
