Best PC/laptop repair shop in BR?

So my just out of warranty laptop just started freezing up. I spent the better part of a day running diagnostics in BIOS and updating drivers b/w freezes. Finally just backed up all my files on an external and did a fresh install of Win 11. Still periodically freezing up on me.
TL/DR: where's the best repair shop in the Baton Rouge area for a laptop?

Post the laptop or specs, might not be worth it. Or if it has a spinning disk, swap in an SSD

probably not worth it if a fresh install didn't help its likely a hardware issue. swapping in a new drive or battery might help if thats the issue, but outside of that all the other components are likely soldered on and having someone work on that would probably be pretty expensive if you can even find anyone local to do it. heat from laptops wears faster on components than PCs because of how tightly everything is packed in the chassis. Not sure what you got but older or cheaper laptops seem to be more susceptible to this.

I have not used them, but Tim's Computers in BTR is well thought of. LINK /
Some repair shops have better proprietary software or better yet techs better versed in using what the operating system provides.
With laptops one of the tradeoffs for small size and light weight is serviceability.
Ask for a diagnostic making it clear that you just want to cut your losses. An honest shop will steer you right.

Another big thumbs up for Tim’s Computers on Sherwood Forest near I-12. Tim is a fair guy and he hires good young techs. He’s also been doing this for about 35 years.

Still a perfectly capable laptop, do you know if it has an SSD or a HDD? Have you tried cracking the bottom open to spray some compressed air?

Cracked it open this morning to see if there are any parts I can salvage. Thing is pristine...no dust or loose parts rattling around. As mentioned above, everything looks to be soldered to the motherboard. Just ordered a new laptop, Lenovo this time around.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I may still run by Tim's to see if it can be salvaged as a backup.

The timing of this thread is funny and I almost made a thread about it yesterday.
I have a 4 or 5 year old Lenovo laptop that (knock on wood) is still kicking along just fine. About 9 - 10 months ago I took it in for a keyboard replacement. The main reason I'm keeping it around is it has a optical drive built in. That was one of my main requirements the last time I looked around and it was one of the few models that still had one. (I occasionally still rip CD's which is why I wanted a optical drive.) I likely could have done the keyboard replacement, but was just a bit uncomfortable about some of the steps. I think the local "chain" here "PC Laptops" charged me $80. They're normally pretty good. They gave me free screws when I couldn't find the size I needed when I upgraded the machine to a 1TB SSD during covid. A $0.01 screw earned them a customer for life. (Geek squad wanted $50 just to take a look at the screw, so I said screw you...
)
Anyway, when I picked it up from the shop the optical drive didn't work. It wasn't really a problem as hadn't had a use for it since then. With the wife and kid back to school I was bored yesterday I cracked it open. It was exactly what I suspected, and the pinch connector for the CD drive wasn't closed. (it was under the wifi card). Less than 5 mins from start to finish. But that wasn't what I was going to post about.
When I opened the case three little non-descript pieces of broken plastic fell out. I was going to make a thread about "How concerned should I be?" I conculded, "Not very for a laptop of this age..."

Most small consumer electronic devices these days have tons of little plastic tabs on the inside to give it a bit more of a solid feel while using fewer screws. With some devices, this isn’t an issue. With others, it’s practically impossible to take the device apart without breaking some of those tabs. Hell, I broke one tab off a few weeks ago when I took my mouse apart. Almost certainly nothing to worry about. I’m more surprised they didn’t invert the case when they were done to let them fall out.

This is about the 6th or 7th time I've been into the machine for a variety of reasons. (SSD install/upgrade, memory upgrades. etc ) FWIW, it came with a 1TB magnetic HDD that I left in when I went to SSD. I just changed the boot order and left the HDD as extra storage.
