I bet there's many other footie players out there that could transition to American football like Aubrey did and be great FG kickers.

They will probably decrease the size of goal posts in the next 5 years.

Tom Dempsey still has the best kicking point (his own 37).

Gonna be fun to watch that record move towards 70 yards.

My son’s skinny kid and he can kick a 60 like it’s nothing. An SEC weight/nutrition program should get him on the Aubrey side of 65.

Ackshually, it was either mismarked or the stat rules were different back then.

The ball was past the 37, which by today’s rules, would mean it was officially on the 38, which would make it a 62 yarder.

Saints fan and no issues against Dempsey, just pointing out facts.

If the ball is at midfield it’s a 60. 38 would be 72.

When Dempsey made his kick the goal post was on the goal line.

Trippy. I used to watch Saints games at the Old Absinthe House and they have a Dempsey boot hanging from the ceiling. Super cool, just 4 cleats on a heel.

ETA: in practice facilities they hang the goal posts…be cool to go back to goal line posts…just have to hang them.

The NFL is too violent and masculine for my big city. We prefer more elevated and enlightened sports like basketball and soccer where contact is at a minimum and players are of questionable gender identities.

The record needs to get up to 69.
