After Coach O made it popular , I was always suspicious of people that said it to me when I was wearing my LSU hat given there aren't many LSU people up here. So my response was " are you an LSU guy?"

Yes it is. Quite annoying when you see someone wearing P&G and you give them the time and holler Geaux Tigers and their response is yeah!
