Cane's is renovating a vacant office building in Legacy Park
Cane's is set to move over a thousand employees to its new operation center off of Legacy. The city of Plano will give them over 6 million in incentives if they meet hiring goals.

That’s crazy that you have to show your vax card to work there

Didn’t know they were moving back here. Legacy Park is a great location but it’s not cheap.

I’m surprised there’s was a vacant office building there.

Louisiana politicians should be publicly flogged, put in a pillory in the middle of town and let people throw fruit at them until they are on the brink of starvation and then put them in jail for the rest of their lives.

Aren't they redeveloping the old Perot campus? I haven't been in that area since 2019.

That is just a symptom. No one election is going to change thing enough that actual corporate talent will move to BR. A large company like that cannot be limited to what BR has to offer and the very few that would move there

So they’re relocating their regional offices from Dallas to Plano

If Cane's and Walk On's were still keeping the bulk of their operations here....south Louisiana would have built a solid community of people in the restaurant and franchising industry.

We are where restaurant chains start out and build their empire. But they leave us for Atlanta or Dallas when they get too big for New Orleans or Baton Rouge.

To their credit, we really need to clean those two cities up and build up their infrastructure. We'd still be too small for most of Cane's operations today, but we'd at least be on track to potentially keep the next big thing to come out of Louisiana.

Canes and Plano? That’s like a dream. What’s next, Arby’s and Wichita? Living the dream, these people.

So what exactly remains of Cane's in Louisiana, other that its original location and other franchises? Is there any corporate presence here at all?
