Or we need depth, and the back up center isn't good enough. We have better depth at guard and tackle to slide in.

You’re right. OP is just on Saturn.

You definitely need to cross train and you do not want to have to throw a true freshman out there in Echols if Chester were to get hurt

They were saying on the radio this morning that the snaps Nuss were getting were all over the place. It's early, no reason not to do a little strategic coaching.

Don't shoot the messenger (OP). It was reported that there were some snap issues in the scrimmage on Saturday. I hope its just for depth purposes but the C position is the biggest unknown on offense.

yeah, guessing Tyree Adams is next man up if any tackles or Guards get injured and don’t believe that monster can play Center.

Ironically, last night I watched the first drive of the FSU-LSU game from 2022 where we had to settle for a FG after a bad snap on 2nd and goal from the 5 resulted in a 14-yard loss. The C was Dellinger.

John Dillinger was a bad man back in the day. It’s crazy he’s playing center for LSU now. Wild world we live in.

We got 2 Centers both are excellent but they are still RSfreshman & freshman we are set for years to come. Even DJ or Echols may move inside to G after this season they’re both that good. Probably has nothing to do with Chester’s play. We are building depth at the one thing that’s very important and often overlooked. Davis building Joe Moore groups

Someone just posted the other day that he was getting pushed around by our dline and the context was that our dline is not upper SEC level in quality or depth which would make this alarming. All I can hope is that the Dline is much better this year.

An interiview I heard the other day mentioned Chester was definitely the weak link and would need to improve a little. This was from one of the local guys watching practice.

Why does it always have to be a negative? Nuss throws picks in practice and now he’s not good because our secondary sucks. Our secondary sucks because Lacy and Daniels are lighting them up. Which is it? And now our OL (best in the country) sucks because our improved DL is starting to generate push. Can we just not be improved defensively?
