I personally have no problem with hispanic/ latino immigration other than the illegal drug trade and human trafficking. They assimilate pretty well, they are mostly Christian, the men are mostly Conservative as they get older, and they work pretty dang hard...The world needs more ditch diggers, construction workers than it needs computer programmers. We need both here in the US, of course...

They should have started a program years ago to vet the hispanics that want to come here from Mexico and South America and place them in jobs; instead of, ayslum and so many freebies from the government....

I mean make it more organized so these people don't feel they have to be used and pay the Cartels to get here. Definitely deport them if they do try to come illegaly or if they break our laws, join gangs, etc, but allow way more of them in than any other nationality, they are our neighbors, and honestly, their culture and people are the closest to ours here in the US.

Then our government could concentrate on legal immigration on one front and fighting the Cartels on the other front. Not the total mess we have now that is overrunning us, messing up our schools, healthcare systems, etc...

WE have an immigration policy the discourages caucasion immigration. If we encouraged it, we would have plenty to solve that problem. We could probably get all the white doctors, nurses, scientists, engineers, and other professionals we wanted from Europe, and probably get all the white skilled tradesmen we wanted too, and probably even a chef or two.
