Good luck to him. Hate he is leaving but unlimited transfers it will be hard to keep some players.

For all that think this makes it better on the young TEs.. It will be a adjustment pimpton is a better wr/re as well as green.. They will have to be better in line block in TEs to not notify defenses that a pass is coming.. Mac maybe heading home to Missouri

It's kind of weird if he decided to transfer because he's worried about PT (when he might have actually played a lot) because he has now put himself in a situation where he is guaranteed to not play football this year

Again I'm not keen on the new transfer rules. In the past it was easy because you just needed to make it to campus before summer practice. Having already participated in summer practice, i can't see him being eligible to compete anywhere until next spring.

Portal isn't open so he basically sits out the season. He can announce where he is going, but cannot play. Makes no sense, why not just play the season?

Wouldnt matter anyway... theres no way he could transfer and learn a new system in 3 weeka. He's got a redshirt year he can use. I'm sure he'll set up a verbal agreement with a school and sign when the portal opens back up.
I'm kinda excited about it. It puts Pimpton & Green in position to see the field much more often. Markway was not a pass catching threat at all.

Agreed about why leave. I guess he figures he can save the year and add it to somewhere else?
