On a serious note, when they introduced Mondo, the broadcast showed his last WR vault and then showed a monument in Sweden that moves every time he sets a new WR.
He has surpassed Zlatan as Sweden's most popular athlete.
If he vaulted for America, no one outside of Louisiana would think about him except for a month every four years.
He made the right decision.

also, I an trying to follow this on the Olympics website
I assume x is a miss, o is a pass, but they have a - for Mindo in 5.5 and 5.8 currently. can he skip heights?
