Starting defense day 1 of fall camp

Reminder: JUST DAY 1
Dline: Da’Shawn Womack, Jacobian Guillory, Gio Paez, Sai’vion Jones
LB: Greg Penn III & Harold Perkins
Star: Major Burns
CB: Ashton Stamps & Sage Ryan
Safety: Jardin Gilbert & Jordan Allen
BK mentioned that they are cross-training Sage at CB and Safety. In the spring Sage was Safety and now Fall camp Corner. Things not set in stone, still just day 1 of camp.

Not going to overreact but if Jordan Allen is starting at Safety and Safe is starting at corner, we are in for some trouble.

He played corner when Zy went down last year and was the best corner arguably for us. Not surprising that's where he's still at considering Zy is still out.
Sage played corner better than he has ever played nickel/safety.

I've always felt like Sage was too stiff and didn't have the footwork skills to be an everyday corner, but what do I know.

Its pretty inarguable that Sage plays much better at boundary corner than any other spot they put him at.
