A little weird topic, but here are some examples; everyone knows "Slipping Away" by Dave Edmunds but i always dug this one; thought it was WAY MORE representative of the 80s sound

The first single from The Verve Pipe was my favorite. After The Freshman came out, Photograph literally disappeared from radio/MTV. Good memories!

great one. perfect example of this. for some reason Sugar hit w/ all the females and we all know how they can run something into the ground.
