This Smashing Pumpkins live at Metro really good

Came across it on YouTube, where if you subscribe to YouTube Premium, you don't see ads and get YouTube music included, really good stuff. Nice surprise. Never got into them before

When is this show from?
I saw them twice - they were great at Lollapalooza 94. They showed clips from Enter the Dragon before they came out and just sounded massive.
The second time was two years later and they blew arse. Awful sound, plus Billy Corgan was whining at the crowd

I caught the randalls island show in nyc, so great. Pumpkins, beastie boys, tribe called quest, parliament funkadelic off the top of my head.

Lollapalooza 1994 Pumpkins was amazing.
I’ve seen them a couple times since. Just straight up fricking horrible.
The last time was at Champions Square. Marilyn Manson opened for them and was the much better of the two acts. Pumpkins sucked, and people started leaving. Billy Corgan bitched and complained at the audience. More people left. We left after they played “Zero.”
Billy Corgan is a fricking zero.

I'd urge you to give them another chance. I've seen them twice since Iha rejoined the band in 2018-ish. That year, they did a tour where they only played songs from their 90's albums, and it was one of the best shows I have been to in the last 10 years. I saw them again with Jane's Addiction (maybe last year?) and they were also very good.
Billy isn't the same person he was 10-20 years ago.

I won free tickets to see the Pumpkins at the Metro in 2022. Was amazing to see them in such a small venue as the Metro is probably similar to the Varsity here in BR.
