Would it not help Trump more if he stayed in?

If we need RFK to stay in to win we're screwed.

That would be very good. RFK as HHS director would be monumental

I think it would be glorious because of the way the Dems kicked RFK to the curb

I don’t know if it would help or hurt Trump though - I would think that his supporters would end up voting for Trump but with democrats, who knows because they are a very weird and emotional groups of people

Not if he actively throws weight behind Trump.

He was in it as a Dem and they screwed him and railroaded him. He left and became independent and everyone ignored him and refused to give him air time. Then they said Biden would be ejected and he said he'd consider going back for the nomination. They ignored him and went with a cackling idiot with less than half the IQ points. He also said he would not support Trump or work for him. He has quite the issue now.

That would depend how his voter base breaks up into. I do think him staying in is helpful, but it could be more meaningful for him to endrose DJT and get Don extra overall votes.

Curious, what spot do you think RFKjr was offered in the Trump administration?

Trump should let RFK Jr appoint every single regulatory agency head. Then I'll believe that Trump's draining the swamp.

I heard that he flew out to Milwaukee and had a pretty lengthy meeting with Trump but haven’t read anything about that meeting

If this didn’t have Politico’s name all over it I wouldn’t think much of it but Politico is a pretty reputable outlet

I just can't see him dropping out AND supporting Trump. He's said on more than one occasion he's running to stop Trump. While he hasn't embraced the vitriol like most of the left, its clear he is not a Trump fan.

People are just connecting the tendencies of both to buck the norm, but they really are not aligned at all.

In this age, I never say never....but this would absolutely shock me.

Y’all are highly overvaluing what his endorsement would mean. His voters chose him because they didn’t like either candidate. That isn’t going to change just because he suddenly says he supports Trump.

I have heard Trump say many times that when people are competing and campaigning against each other it’s all gloves off - but when it’s all over, people who were fighting each other need to come together

He always compares campaigning to UFC fighting. They hate each other leading up to the fight and then after the fight they go out to dinner and have a beer together lol - I’ve heard him explain this a few times - this has been Trump’s philosophy (which could be the reason DeSantis, Nikki Haley, etc have to have all seemed to have made up with him) so who knows
