Just by a USDC in Texas (O'Connor). Not the appellate court.

Pay goes up considerably once you go past 10 mins.

Yeah, I was going off what GnG said in the video.

Regardless, Judge O’Connor is ordering the ATF to return all FRTs they seized to their owners within 30 days.

The unspoken question is, why wasn't the NRA leading this charge? They are, by far, the largest fundraiser when it comes to gun owners/gun rights.

Why anyone who actually believes in the 2nd Amendment ever turned over their triggers to ATF just boggles my mind.

It was legal when you bought it therefore it is yours and these types of triggers actually allow you to fully utilize your heavy barreled, bipod mounted ARs for the full range of uses.

They were not turned in. They were seized.

Now that they are legal again can we acknowledge that a cheap as dirt PSA AR with a ti coated BCG with the addition of a few inconel parts, a bipod, drum mags and a rbt is the closest most civilians will get to mag dumping a SAW.

Edit: they were always legal. The ATF is staffed by domestic terrorists.

Or you can just put a FRT and a drum mag on any reasonably well built AR and do the same. A BCG with a fancy coating means nothing here, the gas tube will be the weak link followed by the bolt itself (which is why a M249 bolt is a much bigger chunk of metal with no cam pin hole, two large locking lugs vs a huge hole plus a bunch of small locking lugs prone to fatigue cracks). Actually just better off getting cheapest mil-spec parts, blueprinting the build, and coating the BCG with bearing grease.

My son... Let me teach you the ways of titanium disulfide powder mixed 1:1 with a high moly grease.

After a few hundred cycles, it feels like glass.

So do my standard phospate BCG's with CLP. I need to find the research paper of tests on various BCG coatings with/without various lubes and the differences in friction, while looked big on paper, translated to almost no real world difference in cycle acceleration rates, wear, and reliability. The only promising technology is a dry surface lubricant system that is an actual coating applied during the manufacturing process and is more or less a permanent lubrication solution.

?

That was my point?

The moly grease is just the carrier until the tungsten disulfide powder fills in all of the microscopic pores. I order it in .0005 size from a chemical supply house.

i guess, technically, once you become a customer... you're protected?

eta: i'd give it awhile. see what the ATF's next move is. considering the bumpstock ruling, they may not appeal the FRT ruling and concede.

I want a FRT, but I want to buy it in person and with cash. Buying it online still seems risky to me
