Google has returned nothing. Anyone know of a good football trainer in the BR area? Looking for Slot WR/Safety training for my son.
TIA

Is there not a 7 on 7 travel ball team?
I’m thinking football may still be an untapped resource for travel ball. What conference does your boy eventually want to play in? That may make a difference in his scholly offers and what he needs to be training towards.

What’s his vert/40?
If he isn’t elite, better work on those toe taps if he wants to be like Cooper Kupp.
I assume you have a white boy? If not how many chains your boy got?

Because it’s a stupid search.
Is your son going to be playing D1? If not, let him do normal training with his team/friends. Spring training and then football season
Stop trying to live vicariously through your son.

Could always invest in a jug machine.
Like another poster said, best to get him working with a speed/agility coach. Most college/pro coaches think they can fix the drops.
If he can get to where he can manipulate a 4.4/40 and excel in vertical, dot and square drills, the combine will get him a shot.

My son wasn’t the most gifted athlete. He has no dreams of playing past high school, he just wanted to compete with his teammates and get playing time in high school. He needed extra work than his team and practices could give. He worked hard in high school just to play.
If you have trouble in school, you get a tutor. Why not the same with athletics?

Because school is required for a future. Athletics is not. Your son is obviously not a gifted athlete so he should explore other talents he’s actually good at and develop those skills.

You encourage your kids to give up so easily?

with some things(often the most critical) in sports either a kid can or can't. Kids today spend more hours in a week in the cages hitting than we did in a season in my era... yet they are no better at the plate.
either they can or they can't.

I encourage kids to find their talents. If my son were a 5’2” chubby white dude I would not invest his time, energy, and my money into trying to make him a high school basketball player.
