I read about it a little while ago that the ND fans were convinced he was gone when they saw this. Talking about how they needed the portal. Missed out on everybody...

I heard a certain prominent booster in Miami was a big reason LSU landed Pickett similar to Patrick Peterson. Don't know how true it is but the guns are loaded apparently.

Why in Gods name would Irish fans think a top rated WR would want to go there?
Also you’re crazy if you think nd is going to admit things are not as good as they were when Kelly was there.

I agree Life Coach, I was being facetious. They obviously will never admit that Brian Kelly leaving was because he knew he'd never have an opportunity to win a Natty there like he will do here.

Interesting that Spiegs put in for us to get Antoine, but there's been a couple on3 guys (Chad Simmons included) that have put in for Miami to get him.
ND on3 writers still hoping on Meadows / saying they're still in it but giving LSU the edge.

Spiegs just did an interview yesterday with Jerit Roser essentially saying he didn’t think LSU was going to get commitments from Pickett, Meadows, and Antoine.
He did have nice tidbits about CJ though, connection with CJ’s dad and Frank Wilson. CJ announcement date is Aug 8

I saw that too. I think Antoine has a soft spot for them because they were the first to offer. He's riding it out and giving them the benefit of the doubt. But how in the world could you seriously consider a school that has underperformed for 20 years and is now in a conference that is quickly dying? I just don't see it happening.
