Lincoln Riley is a huge bitch.

Now that I got the obvious out of the way, we really should handle this.

I wouldn't want to be that USC D-line. Can our secondary rise the frick up?

We better win. I’m sick of losing game 1 every season since Burrow left. It’s getting old and not the LSU standard. I’ll also add that this is USC and we’ve been waiting on this game since 2003. I’ll trade opening losses since Burrow to beat the hell out of USC this year.

Usc will have a new look on defense. Usc turned over the whole defensive staff and raided all of Ucla defense ( usc new dc was ucla dc) On paper the staff is a huge upgrade. The qb had a huge bowl game and some say he fit Riley offense better than Caleb

Their offense will be elite

Our defense will not.

I thought a lot of the UCLA defense stayed? With that said, the consensus take on the USC defense is that they had talent but that the coaching never utilized it properly.

Sounds familiar, no?

All the talking heads are saying USC is in bad shape, Riley doesn't know how to build a team and LSU should win easy.

I'm not so sure. Moss will be capable and the offense should be pretty good. Their defensive staff overhaul mirrors ours so I don't think it will be a route. I think LSU wins, but with a 4th Qtr score to put it away.

We just need to get that opening game win under our belt and I think Kelly and Co will be able to take a breath and refocus on the rest of the season.

Should beat them with ease

But CBK has shown he sucks in openers

So it’ll be a close one

USC is going to be better than last year.

They have plugged some holes from last year with transfers. They also got a new DC from UCLA D'Anton Lynn.

Sounds like LSU.

I'm more interested to see if the defensive line can rise up. I don't know how much progress the secondary has made in the off season, but they won't stand a chance if they have to cover for 7 seconds.

Offensively, if LSU takes care of the ball, I'd be really surprised if USC can hold them under 40. So, I feel pretty good about it overall, I guess.

Florida st games were a huge letdown as well especially last season

Hopefully BK has them ready. Not too worried about offense but we all know the D needs to make pretty big strides.

LSU should beat USC by 10. Will be tight early, but better O line and run game will be the difference imo

We are favored by a TD for a reason. Would be completely unacceptable for BK to lose three openers in a row

Our offense should be slightly better than theirs (Nuss has shown ability and our offensive line is disgustingly good, everyone else on both sides are largely unproven) and our defense is SEC mediocre to SEC bad, theirs is Pac12 bad.

I'm feeling better and better the closer it gets. I think the continuity we have will be a big help and our defense will be a little more improved than expected. I'm taking LSU by 10
