HVAC help needed

So, my central AC stopped blowing 7/4.
Changed blower motor and circuit board but still was not working properly. I have it jumped, for now, and the house is cool. Everything works as it should, but I have to manually cut it on and off.
LED light on old board would not light up, new board lights up LED but won’t function properly. I’m thinking this board is also bad.
Opinions?

Explain what you did to have it jumped

What part is jumped? There are very specific terminals from the control board that should be energized for cooling cycles and heating cycles. For example, if the control board is not sending 24V to the coil outside, the compressor will never turn on and your blower motor will just push warm air through your house.

Jumped red to yellow on thermostat wires and door switch to cool wire on blower motor.

Don't some boards blink out a code for diagnostics?

Yes, this one has a legend on the inside of the door, but the light stays on continuously. No blinks.

Thanks
I’ll try this tomorrow.
I have a smart thermostat, but I can take the faceplate off and jump the wires.

I tried what the video showed to do but the fan would not come on, so I’m sticking with the bad circuit board.

Could be the circuit board - I’ll state what my auto shop owner says, just b/c it’s a new part, doesn’t mean it’s a known good part. They have to send back new OEM parts all the time according to him b/c they don’t meet the manufacturers specs.
Are all you sure the thermostat wire connections to the circuit board in the furance-air handler are tight, placed on the correct terminals, etc. Ditto all the connectors that plug into the circuit board.

To the best of my knowledge, they are just as they were before it stopped working properly. I took
pictures of the wiring placement and put it all back like it was. I even deleted and reloaded the thermostat in the app.
New board is supposed to arrive tomorrow, fingers crossed it works.
Thanks for replying!
