With Vance being the VP pick, this proves that all of the MAGA folks who said DeSantis should “wait his turn” and were mad at him for “abandoning” his state were full of crap. Vance has 4.5 years left on his first term.

DeSantis is water under the bridge. He took miserable advice and damaged his brand for no reason. Even if he wanted to run, he should have avoided giving the democrats ammo. Four years is a lot of time. If he continues to do a good job, he'll have an opportunity. Now he has to overcome his unforced errors in this foray.

You can't have two from the same state, read about the electors and who they can vote for (and they vote Pres and VP separate, going back to the early days of the country, that's how you got them from two different political parties.)
