Democrats are pretending to be surprised they knew all along but didn't care because it meant that their party was in power. They always go all in on whatever the party narrative is until they can't anymore then just just switch over to whatever the new narrative is.

Got to imagine that if they remove and install someone else that no body voted for, many middle-of-the-road democrat voters (if there is such a thing) should be downright pissed that their votes didn't matter.
